TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In recent years Waithira Chege has studied pottery and maintains her own very large busy workshop. She specialises in stoneware pottery using the wheel as the principle method of making. Her approaches are inventive, dedicated and extremely tenacious and work grows all the time. On a professional level, Waithira is making significant contributions to the high temperature traditions of this art.

Supporting her professional endeavours, Waithira has a sensitive and very warm personality. She is always open to teaching advice and capable and willing to share experience with others. I have no hesitation in recommending her for any professional study opportunity, fully aware of the advantages she took from Goldsmiths’ Diploma in Ceramics course.
